Yeah, something to get me into doing hand drawn work again, as it has been quite a few months since I've done hand drawn stuff. I need to take a break from my 3D work for awhile.

Alright, isn't the best, I know that for a fact... and in all actuality, I should have left it in pencil instead of going over it with a Gel Pen (would have used on of my Faber Castel's Ultra-fine points, but that disappeared on me, thanks to my fricken sister using it to trace tattoo lines for her husbands soon-to-come tattoo).

Buildings for the most part are half-assed, as I didn't want to get REALLY detailed on the picture outside of the Mech and where its standing, just to keep attention to it and nothing else - but that isn't to say that adding the extra detail to the rest wouldn't boost the quality of the picture. And, for the most part, it's unfinished and is most likely going to stay that way, it's basically just a practice piece to get me into the habit of drawing again.

Adding the watermark DA adds, couldn't care less if it detracts from the image.

Next time you ink something, I'd recommend something like Micron technical pens. That make some very, very fine-tipped pens and a variety of tips like a chisel point or round point. In inking it helps a lot to vary your line width and the tip shape, to make things easier to separate from one another--especially when it comes to something mechanical.

I use Faber Castel varying points. Unfortunately, along with my Ultra-fine point that was lost thanks to my sister, the rest have mysteriously disappeared.

Look at the rest of my Inked pics, I never used a ball-point Gel pen on those. And this is really a practice pic, as stated, and doesn't really matter as such.

Actually its pretty Nostalgic........ old school mechwarrior art. Back then when digital coloring and art was in the early stages still.

Tho there are some part that could be better but overall a very memorable piece.

i could never understand building battlemechs with glass cockpits: one armor penetrating sniper round to the pilots head, and you have yourself a brand new mech for the price of a rifle a bullet and a new plate of glass :p

It isn't glass, it's transparent aluminum, which exists in real life. It's 2x stronger than steel of the same thickness.
