It's coming along, just a little slowly, keeping loading up some very old models and wanting to overhaul them and get them posted, since not many people here have actually seen them.

How to you get all the detail in these?

All I can do is the basic shape of what I wanna build then my brain just locks up.

Eh, it takes a little bit of time. Mostly extrusion and beveling to get details in, though it takes awhile to get a feel for your program to start turning out detailed models.

ya i use 3ds max, just looking at all the buttons gives me a headache XD

you use Wings3D right? is it easier to learn?

Wings3D gets rid of all the excessive buttons seen in professional apps. Wings3D is a modeler, has no animation capabilities, it's rendering sucks (and in the newest versions, was actually removed), and is capable enough to UV map objects.

Most of your functions are produced through menues you access with Right Mouse clicks.

On the Wings3D website, there's some tutorials (one site from PuzzledPaul, a great place to start to learn the ropes of Wings3D).
