Don't mind the subject, the RAM my father was nice enough to buy for me (2 gigs for less than $40, including tax and shipping/handling) arrived yesterday. Now I need a better CPU. If the job hunt went better, that wouldn't be so much of a problem. But, that's ok, it's better than the minimum requirements of the course (Which requires a Minimum 1.5ghz CPU, I have a 1.8ghz Dual Core, courtesy of my mother before she passed away).

One thing I'm not looking forward to in March when GA&D starts with Westwood College Online... is learning Maya all over again. I touched that program for all of a week back in 2003, never really did too much with it, thanks to budget cuts the class that taught that was pulled from the elective curriculum, (Same with Drafting Class in general) just so the school could put a big LCD sign out front of the school.

And the school I transfered to, because I wanted those classes, had an idiot for a teacher, and really didn't cover the advanced stuff in a program like he was supposed to in the second semester. Unfortunately I wasn't able to touch a high-end 3D program until I completed (or passed) that class. Probably was ok, considering it was 3Ds Max they used.

I have Maya PLE installed at the moment, all it can do is really help me understand what's going on, and get re-familiarized with stuff I've forgotten over these years.
