Just Something by AceDarkfire Just Something by AceDarkfire
Figured I'd take the "A little different" slightly further than the previous render. Wrapped a modified inverse cube around it and engineered a little bit of a scene. Sadly, the hally way didn't come out the way I had hoped. If putting more than 6 or 7 lights were possible (the 5 lit sides of the modified Area Light already in scene count as 5), without it rendering just a black screen, I would have put some lights to light that hallway up.

Not the best of scenes, but I like how it came out. Gets a bit of a change in pace against just having the model stand on top on a plain cube.

As I already said, I love this model. :D

You got a really nice pose for it too. Very... dynamic. Does justice to a good mesh.

The background, albeit simple, also works nicely.

Very nice background. It feels like it's fighting in a underground bunker. Maybe when you complete it you could make some action scenes with the model.

I have to say I like this machination, but everytime I've seen it the fingers look... off. they seem incredibly flimsy unlike if they had been a bit rounded.on that note, the thumb joint is very strangely placed.
I really have no complaints about the rest of it though.

I've been fiddling with a new hand model (something I use as a stock piece, so I don't have to model a new hand each and every time) that's a bit more...robust than these ones.

As far as the thumb placement, it is a little odd, but it also keeps it from having an overly complex joint (and thus fragile) sitting behind a hand weapon
